Data Protection

In order to comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998, you are notified that the Faversham Raft Race Committee (in particular) and The Scrine Foundation processes (routinely and safely access/stores) the information it has relating to you that you have provided when making contact with either of them.

The information which is most regularly accessed include:

-    Your name
-    Your address
-    Your contact details

We process the information you give us in order to keep you informed, involved in the work the Charity does in the area and work the Race Committee is doing both with you and on your behalf as volunteers and supporters of the Charity and the Raft Race in particular.

In particular we may contact you with the details of past and future meetings relating to forthcoming Raft Races or events which support the Raft Race. In addition, we may invite you to other fund raising events or provide you with information relating to opportunities for you to get more involved in the Charity and its fund raising activities.

The Scrine Foundation and the Faversham Raft Race Committee in particular has no interest in sharing data relating to you with any third party and would need your prior consent to do so.
