Hugh Robertson MP - "The Raft Race is one of the great Faversham Festivals and I am delighted to see it happening again this year. I wish all the competitors the very best of luck and hope that everyone has a fantastic day and enjoys all the facilities that Faversham has to offer."

Cllr Tom Gates (Kent County Councillor) - "I have always made a point of supporting the Raft Race and missed it when it hasn't happened.  It's great that now the race is back on.  Its good for the Town, its good for the people who live here and it raises cash for a registered charity too.  See you there!"
